She has been engaging in clinical works for 24 years and is of extensive clinical experience. She is familiar with diagnosing and treating commonly and frequently encountered diseases in orthodontics. She is skilled in functional appliances for treating functional and early stage skeletal malocclusion. She is also skilled in correct various malocclusions such as mal-aligned teeth, gagtooth and crossbite with straight wire arch technique, self-ligating brackets with low-friction light force technique and implant anchorage technique. Dr. Shao has published more than 10 papers in province level journals.
